1) Sports facility courts including tennis courts are classified by its material into clay courts, chemical courts
　(urethane, acrylic), artificial turf courts, sports mats, etc.

2) Clay courts are
　a. topped with mixed natural clay, which is environment-friendly and good for human body.
　b. loved by enthusiastic tennis players, since they provide optimal cushioning and slip, which protects players’
　　ankles and knee joints during the games, and are comfortable underfoot.
　c. cheaper to construct compared with other types of courts, and the most widespread type in Korea.
　d. susceptible to weather and temperature change, so careful maintenance is required.
　　- A lot of efforts are made to complement this shortcoming by developing all weather clay, to shorten the
　　　recovery time of the clay court from bad weather and make its maintenance easier.
　　(Various products, such as entoutcas, draining clay, and Land Chemic, are available in the market, but due to
　　　their shortcomings they are not widely used.)
